Canine mange mainly occurs on young animals which are undernourished and suffering from internal parasites and mothered by infested animals. Animals should not be permitted to mingle with mangy animals or contact premises occupied by them since individual contact is the most important method of transmission. Practical Instruction: | Mites are most often introduced on infested animals. Prevention relies on identifying and treating these animals.
Most mites do not survive for long periods off of the animal, but
in some cases you may need to treat the animal’s environment.
1. Treat the animal quickly and all the animals in a group aginst Mange at the same time otherwise mites from animal you do not treat will soon spread back to others.
2. Spray the animals using acaracides like supona,mil;bitraz,tsetse tick etc.
3. Treat animals again after 2 weeks time
4. Clean the house where animal live.
5. Feed the animal with well mixed feeds and mineral salt from the local veterinary Shop. |
